Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or submitting property content to DesiHomes ("DesiHomes.pk", "we", "our", or "the Platform"), you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

To use DesiHomes, you must be at least 18 years old and possess the full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan or your resident jurisdiction.

DesiHomes functions strictly as an online real estate marketplace and technological platform designed to connect prospective property buyers, sellers, certified real estate agents, landlords, and tenants across Pakistan and overseas overseas Pakistanis.

Any real estate transaction, negotiation, token money (Biyana), lease contract, or sales deed execution occurs solely and directly between the respective buyer and seller / agent.

Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials (passwords, OTPs, and authentication tokens). You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during registration, including your valid Pakistani CNIC / NICOP and active mobile phone number.

DesiHomes reserves the unconditional right to temporarily suspend, permanently ban, or restrict any account suspected of impersonation, fraudulent activities, or multiple abusive duplicate accounts.

When creating or publishing a property listing on DesiHomes, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the lawful owner of the property, or an authorized agent holding valid representation rights from the owner.
• The specified price (in PKR), dimensions (Marla, Kanal, Sq. Ft), location, specifications, and amenities are 100% accurate and not misleading.
• All uploaded photos, video walkthroughs, and floor plans depict the actual property and do not infringe on any third-party copyrights or trademarks.
• The property is free from undisclosed legal litigation, stay orders, or illegal land encroachments (Katchi Abadi).

Real estate agents registered on DesiHomes must adhere to professional ethics and transparency. Standard agency commission rates in Pakistan (typically 1% for property sale transactions and half or one month's rent for lease agreements) must be clearly communicated to clients prior to finalizing deals.

Verified Agent badges (⭐) are issued after reviewing agency credentials, CNIC, and track records, but do not constitute an absolute guarantee by DesiHomes.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on DesiHomes and will result in immediate termination, blacklisting, and reporting to relevant Pakistani law enforcement authorities (including the FIA Cyber Crime Wing):

• Posting fake, non-existent, or bait-and-switch listings at unrealistic prices.
• Requesting advance booking payments or token money via unverified digital accounts without physical site visits and title verification.
• Scraping, harvesting, or reverse-engineering platform data, contact details, or media files.
• Posting abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, DesiHomes, its founders, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from transactions, disputes, misrepresentations by third-party sellers/agents, or temporary platform downtime.

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pakistan.
